timing belt questions
« on: January 31, 2006, 07:55:08 PM »
im going to be changing my timing belt in the sidekick soon. what all should i change at that time? so far i got the waterpump, timing belt, drive belts, valve cover gasket, spark plug seals, cam seals, crank seals, distribitor seal(??),adjusting valves. thats all ive gotten prices for so far. are there any pieces such as tensioners or gears i should replace? im using all factory parts as i can get them just as cheap as aftermarket. thanks for your input.

You should replace the tensioner too for what it's worth when you do the belt.
