« on: September 13, 2008, 09:55:52 PM »
how does everyone take there doors off?

i saw a picture where they cut the top hinge so it was like a jeep and i also saw real expensive billet hinges that where made to pull off from a Suzuki site

I cut the top of the hinge off on my old samurai and it worked great.

I did the same.  Just cut the top of the hinge off.  Instant removable doors.

Don't forget to cut one of the door pins slightly shorter or it will be hard to put the doors back on.

Do a search for removable doors at Ack's FAQ (link in signature) to find two articles on how to do the mod.

Make sure you cut the top pin shorter and not the bottom, it will make it easier to put the doors back on. I also beveled the pins to make it easier to put them back on.
