Flaming Hot Transmission Hump
« on: March 09, 2007, 07:10:31 AM »
That title ought to get some looks!

I have installed an aluminum diamond-plate cover over my transmission hump - the boots for the shifters are bolted to this.  I have the Calmini 3" body lift.  When I'm wheeling it, that diamond-plate gets HOT!  Any suggestions, as to how to keep it from getting so hot?  I'm thinking hot air from the engine compartment is flowing over the top of the tranny, because of the 3" body lift.

Has anybody else encountered this?  What do you do about it?
