Hello All,

I have checked the power to the pump,good....changed fuel filter,good....no fuel pressure....Are there any fuel pumps that will fit other than stock??? It's a 90 model and they want $200 for new pump....I heard a honda fuel pump would work????? Any more info???

A Bosch fuel pump (external) from a VW
will work, I got one to bolt straight in no
fuel line cutting, I hooked it in by the filter,
got it cheep from the wreckers, this was off
a Turbo 944 I think, worked to boost the fuel
pressure to 80 PSI before I added the MegaSquirt
EFI system and extra injectors

Good Luck

I have a VW EFI pump from a Rabbit/Golf, my understanding is that it requires a lifter pump in the tank.

I thought so too, I used the stock pump too,
then took it off line, never had a problem,  but
the system was full of fuel, starting with a dry
pump or run out of fuel and you might have trouble
