alright haven a little trouble finden it but i knew some one used to make one and i cant remember who.....for a 1.6 lt 8 v tracker engine..... if any one can help id appreciate it.

ok, my 2c is...
i have one installed on my 90 8v. i did so many mods all at once that i cant tell you if it helped. but, i am going to pull it off this spring and see. i did read somewhere that they mostly help at high rps. but my mech. told me he has seen it work on one moter and hurt on another, thinks it has to do with the intake, lifters, carb set up. oh, i got mine from some guy in canada off of ebay.

mine isnt carbed though....its fuel injected....hmmm im deff gonna think about it........any one else have any expeirience wit it?

Like 90stomper I installed mine along with a lot of other mods (including a rebuilt engine) so whether or not it makes a difference I can't say. I will say that I am beginning to feel more power out of this engine now that it is loosening up (about 2K miles on it now).

The spacer is supposed to increase torque, and mine definitely feels like it has more torque than before the rebuild.

ya it definently gave me some needed low end torque, i would reccomend it, its not a supercharger or anything but every lit bit helps.

did adding the spacer affect how the alum. intake part fits up? I seem to remember some support brackets for the piece over the valve cover? Did you just extend these?

The support brackets should be extended but the intake seems to be pretty solid without them. I am adding a spacer under the bracket that is on the intake side, the exhaust side bracket has nothing to attach to on mine due to the header.
