i was going to replace the carpet in my sidekick but all the carpet i've looked at is thin and just as crappy as whats in it. is there any thicker carpet available. if not what should i use that would last

just my .02.... (its what I'm doing in my `kick) pull carpet clean,prep,herculiner (or similar) replace carpet. should add rust protection, sound deadening, and general improved driving enjoyment. plus whenever needed pull carpet and hose out (carefully for the computer controlled people).

No carpet here...just Herculiner and rubber floormats in mine.   I do got a couple OEM carpets I'd be willing to part with for a small price though ,  one for a 4-door, one for a 2-door, both gray I think.  Where ya located?

TopHeavy, is the herculiner good stuff?  Holds up and last well? Easy to hose blood and guts off of?

I'm not top heavy but I do know the hercuiliner is good stuff, have seen it inside many `a rigs. probably not as good as the local rhino lining shop but for 1/6 the cost its pretty appealing too me.

BRD HNTR has the Herculiner on the inside of his rig and we are kind of split on it.  While it is tough and will protect against just about everything the coating is a little rough, so fine dirt tends to stick in giving it a sort of all ways dirty look.  We did the brush on application, not using an airgun so that may have affected the result.

I would get a couple of samples and go with whichever one has the smoothest finish.
