Carb ice --

 ???  Had some problems this morning on the way home from work. Could someone discribe what one would have on these if he was getting carb icing ??  Thanks  mac0

You need to tell us more! is your throttle sticking? try wd-40 on the outside of it and maybe cover your radiator most of the way! and make sure your thermostat is good.

outside of the carb gets all frosty looking and ice inside, loss of power.
replacing the hot air tube from the manifold to the intake will help.

What will happen is it will start missing real bad,when you put your foot in it it does not rev, stumbles all over itself, but will clear out if you stop for a minute and rev it a little. I had problems with that this past weekend comin out of the mountains. It was freezing rain and very cold. Didnt help I was goin about 70 mph.....
