Do i need new motor mounts?
« on: April 09, 2007, 11:37:43 AM »
Hi guys, I can put my hand on the intake pipe and push my engine back and forth almost and inch.  I thought it was my tranny mount so i changed it but no difference.  Also when i shift and let the clutch out i can feel my engine and tranny jerk real hard. Also when i just rev my engine it moves back and forth almost an inch.. Do i need new motor mounts?

Sounds like you might, but an "inch" isn't a lot of movement, chances are, when under load, it is moving more than that. They are pretty easy to change.
