My rear springs fully compress which makes for a sometimes bone jarring ride

I was curious if a XL7 or some other model would give me 3" in my '92 4dr sidekick - nothing heavy up front and only a full size spare and some supplies in the rear.  I took everything off the rear and they still fully compressed so I need a change.

After such a sales job would anyone be interested in the springs after they are replaced?

If your springs are bottoming out after a long ride or heavy use it's probally your shocks fadeing. I run my kick very hard in the desert and find that the springs are fine, just the shocks that Calmini sells w/ the 3" kit are not good for everybody. I run Doeshtec 8000"s they are hard for some but I can ralley at 50mph all day>

I also have the same problem.  I have a Trail Tough bumper, cargo rack, and fuel and water canisters in the back.  I have to take it very easy over bumps to prevent the back from bottoming.  Does anyone know the Calmini spring rate?

I was running 2" Calmini  springs in the back of my 2 door but one broke because they fully compressed. After that I cut the 3" spring that came with the 3" suspension kit I had on the Tracker.  That spring never gave me any problems and rode nice after cutting it.  Since then I changed to rear to OME 955 springs with a 1 inch spacer.  The 955 spring is the longest listed for the rear of a Sidekick and is listed as a 4 door Trackick medium duty spring. No heavy duty spring is listed at all for the rear.
