Almost every rig i see there are no shock boots just wandering if there is a reason for this.

especially if you drive fast

it provides minimal protection from flying debris

Boots always end up filling up with something.

Nothing SCREAMS "mall crawler" like shock bling. That said, I have some on my strut towers, but that's to keep sand & mud off the rod.
