another gear question
« on: April 12, 2009, 10:03:05 AM »
I have a samurai with a 1.3L and 33"x 13.5" super swamper's and stock drivetrain. I don't drive it on the road. It is mostly in 4Low and I need to gear it down to get that little engine to spin those tires in the mud. I don't know if i should just get transfer case gears or RP or both. I don't rock crawl or hill climb only muddin. What are your experiences and opinions on transfer case gears and RP gears.

Cousin has the 8:1 with the 1.3 and 33x12.5 TSL tires.  He hardly ever users 1st gear.  :)
