Still having problems with my timeing even after I replaced the key. Any advice?

they and key slot have been replace with new ones on the crank. The timing is still of though, It's still spiting and poping. Any advice?

Hmmm. Usually the problem is the key/keyway, timing off a tooth, spark plug wires switched around, or the timing is just off.
Vacuum lines pulled off or leaking?
Water in the gas?
You didn't take the distributor out did you?

How did it run before you replaced the timing belt?
Why do you think you need an adjustable cam sprocket?  What is your timing set at?

It ran great about a year ago. My friend somehow fucked the crankshaft or crank pulley or something. He put a new key and key slot in, though he said the pulley was fucked up or something and the key was angled? I'm not quite sure. I'm going to go out and look at it and see whats up today. I find an Adj. cam sprocket though, so that'll be nice to have. Thanks for the advice.
