Water Leak from Small Hose Water Pump to Manifold
« on: October 05, 2012, 05:09:46 PM »
Hi everybody,

Sorry, my first post is not an introduction.  I know I'm a loser,  Here's my problem:  I just installed a new radiator on my 87 Samurai.  Now there is a little hose, one end is connected to the part that the water pump is bolted on to and the other end is connected, it looks like a manifold, basically underneath the thermostat.  It's about 2 inches long, about the size of a nickel round.  What would that hose be called  I don't feel confident doing the repair correctly.  What would be a fair price to have someone do it  Either at the shop or craigslist.

Any help out here it looks like the (Tube or Nipple) under neath the This tube runs under the intake manifold to the back of the water pump from one of the heater hoses.

The Nimple or tube rusterd out is there a cheap easy fix like jb weld  or any thing

on the 1.3 L, there is these metal tubes, Like countonme said, drain the coolant system,
get the spot where the leak is cleaned off well, mix up some JB Weld (available at any hardware/parts store)
patch the hole, let it sit for 24 hrs, reassemble and you should be leak free.
