Well, like the title says, I'm looking for something to stab into my Samurai. I wouldn't mind getting a 1.6 & adapter kit cheap, but a 1.3 is fine for what I have planned. Mostly a DD with some trail-riding on occasion. If you have one that you would ship to 66713 or live close enough for me to come buy one, let me know. Not looking to buy a smoker or one with a spun bearing, just something I can drop in & go. Short block is fine too since it would cut down on cost.

Also, I'm checking to see if there are any removable hardtops nearby & what the current pricing is on them. Might consider buying another soft top since mine is ripped.

After I get it running again, I'm sure I'll be buying a snatch, rear springs for an RUF, & possibly other stuff. LoL projects always seem to be addictive.

Several looks but no one is selling an engine? Ouch. Maybe I need to just give up looking........ No local yards have one either.

In that case.... Is anyone interested in buying an 87 Sami with a spring over, removable doors, extended shackles, & no motor? LoL sorry I'm just bummed after looking for over a month.

I'm sure you can find an engine, or engine to upgrade. Keep an eye on Craigslist and maybe just find a 2 wheel drive Tracker to get an Engine from...

Samurais are a Blast with a 16 valve and the swap isn't too bad at all. It's barely more than just swapping the 1.3.
