i am installing power steering on my 92 tracker. the donor parts are from 96 tracker.. the pulleys do not line up so i think i need a crank pully from a 92 tracker with factory power steering..  anybody got one let me know what you want for it

I ran into this... 98 PS on an 89.. and the problem was due to mounting brackets... give Hawk (1-888-SAMURAI) a call and tell them what you have, it may be a simple bracket replacement that fixes your problem.

Sounds like you got it figured out.  The 8V and 16V engines use different brackets for the PS pump....that is why it didn't line up.  All crank pulleys are the same.

sure did  i got both ps and ac brackets from hawk... i had all the 16v parts to change it over alt,waterpump pully,timing belt pulley,etc but i didnt want to create a nightmare problem for someone else down the road so i keep it 8v setup like it shud be...
