Shame they won't fit my 95. On the " other " coast anyway.

They are made to fit that year and older. I think they changed in 96... could be wrong. I luckily have a 93 2wd that I use for parts. I had to run the brakes off of that one.

Yeah, I think the spline count may have changed ( more ). Since you have a 93 any way you could compare ?

No, it's just the way suzuki mounted the wheels.  On the early models they were a 4 bolt and on mine they were a 5.  The bolts that hold the drums on.

If I am correct in what you guys are talking about the axles should be interchangeable. The Cherry bomb is a 96 and had the newer style axles. After I broke one in a race I found out they are weaker because of a necked down area. I got a older set of axles and they bolted right in.

I am just seeing this, and the CL ad is expired.  I have a 95 4 door manual with the noisy rear pinion. Is this something I would need?

Doubtful if your problem is a pinion gear/bearing.  Your pinion rides in bearings inside the nose of your rear differential where it meshes with your ring gear and turns your axles.  There are also shims in your pinion and ring gear that, along with proper torquing and proper back lash measurements, allows your ring and pinion to mesh correctly into the ring gear teeth.  The pinion shaft is inside a sleeve with a flange on the end held in place with a large nut.  The flange bolts to your drive shaft.

Probably not, unless your noise is a wheel bearing going out.  Even then most would replace the bearing, unless your driving style is breaking axles.  These are stronger axles.
