Hey so I got in involved in a tub swap last year with my sami. I had bought a really nice rig an drove it on the trails for a while but wanted to put it on the road. So I found a nice sami tub need some work but compared to my old
sami this was rust free an excellent . At the time I only had a stick wielder so I couldn't wield the body instead I fiberglassed it .I took the old tub off unhooked all the wiring an labeled it an what not an started to clean it up to swap the body but got laid off so I couldn't get it finished. Now if u know what ur doing n have space there's not a ton of work that needs to be done to this . It runs strong I just wanted to drive it on the road so I was changing the tub . Kinda wish I never did cause I could be out trail riding right now with it. Only thing missing to make this thing work is a gas tank since the one on it developed a leak an that was kinda what slowed me down cause I wanted the petro works extra capacity tank but lost the sending unit when the scrap guys came an picked up the old tub. I was trying to save 500 dollars for the tank and sending unit.it never happened cause money got short work got slow an I have another project that unfortunately gets attention first. So I don't know what its worth really. Its semi in pieces an I'd def rather try an have the whole thing sell out right instead of part it out . There's some really nice upgrades done to the sami.
Rocky road transfers case gear set 8:1 . I can say this thing crawls when in 4 wheel low

Has decent Tu. Its been fiberglassed still needs some work inside but pretty simple stuff to fix an a great front clip an grill. Also has some jeep yj style wheel well fender skirts.

I also have spare extended brake lines an front driveshaft
The sami also has a almost new set of super swampers 30x10.5r15 I say almost new cause I sold them to a friend who drove on them when they were brand new for about a month he didn't make with the cash so I took them back. An there mounted also on brand new aluminum Alcoa rims.
I have receipts for most of this stuff alot of it came from rocky road. I also know I stand to make more in tearing it apart an parting it out but I don't want to do that an go threw eBay an all that other stuff. So what's a fair price for something like this ? I'll post a bunch of pictures tomorrow after work but just seeing if there's a interest .
