"completed???"   What is that? 
I love the look of your TT, even as old as it is.  Enjoying it is the best part of building, and it is good to see that is what you are doing.
"Completed" is going to be hard to accomplish.

Haha very true, I guess I meant was initial stages completed.. however even now thinking about it might take a bit longer since I don't think I will be moving up to 33's until I complete the opentop body and swap that over(would rather do the trimming on that body and swap it over when completed) than be without a truck for awhile while I work on the TT body.

However on thing is for sure I believe this truck will be completed at one point or another... however as with anything stuff will break but that will be considered maintenance afterward since this build I want to keep it a street legal "sleeper" in terms of its offroad ability.

Final Plans are:
Smallest amount of lift possible to fit 33's.. would prefer to do trimming instead of lift.. I wouldn't mind doing CJ rear leafs and OME 2" rear samurai leafs up front but this setup maybe too high.
Going to cut 2" from the hood and raise up the front fenders to the new level.
Going to openup the rear wheel wells a bit.. all of the body work will still make it look "stockish" if you didn't know an LJ well since it wont be comp cut or anything just opened up a bit.
I am thinking a F10D engine from a Euro Alto which is similar to the F10A engine from the SJ410 however has DOHC with fuel injection as well as 61hp/63ftlbs which hopefully will wake the lil guy up a bit and help turn the 33's Wouldn't mind pairing it with the rare 5sp sj410 transmission hopefully this combo will allow it to easily cruise 80-90km/h to and from the trails.
That is the most of it but there is alot more heh.

Here is a shot of the SJ410 that my son Kris had.  Your build sounds similar to what he was attempting to do.  After bending a couple sets of rear springs on 33" tires, we went to a 4 link in back and a folding shackle up front.

Nice! yeah I would love to go 4link however I live in Ontario, Canada. and they just keep getting more and more strict... Now we cannot have any lift installed unless it meets or exceeds OEM spec and is mass produced... Which means no custom lift kits.

That has 1.5" lift springs in the rear and stock LJ50 rear springs up front and running 33's, you can see the trimming was kept to a minimum and it looks great.. That is the stance I believe I am going for, however if ontario wasn't so strict I would definitely do a 4link system with airbags or airshocks to get the most out of the flex.

Then I could air them up/down depending on the terrain since I do some mud bogs(be good to air up on those however likely will reduce doing bogs eventually and focus on trail) as well as sand dune riding(lower the better here) and eventually wouldn't mind some light rock crawling.
