Well here is the first "prototype" of the tire carrier it works well but I need to tie it into the roll cage above the tailights. The lower mounts are polly bushings and bolts the upper mount is a polly bushing and an aircraft type of ball lock pin 1/2". I will also add mounts for a highlift under the tire. Let me know what you think.

94 purple/green splash tracker w/ calmini 3' heavly modified lift 32 11.5 r15 bfg m/t's  & custom air induction and header w/ 2"exh. no cat lockrite rear 2" B/L and a heavy right foot and now 583s steel up front and locked.
2002 GV 2.5l 4.5 ZN lift locked on 31's

are you going to tie it into the cage or put it on the side

I tied mine to the cage but now if I ever put a top on it it's going to have to be custom or maybe a wind breaker behind the DS/PS seats

Well I've ran it hard for awhile now and all is well. If anybody is in the SoCal area I'd be happy to make some more.
