Ryan, I can't thank you enough for that link to Woodward, they have the
parts I have been looking for, for years now. I can finally build the slip shafts
for the IFS sidekick half shafts, and the parts are off the shelf, just have them
send an order.
For all those who are going
this is a way to 1 lengthen the a-arms and
2 eliminate the CV cup that is on the inner side of the CV shafts. Now you
might be saying so....
the CV cups only have about a 25* angle capacity
before they are strained, where a standard CV such as the outer can go to
about 40* instead, so this gives the front IFS the ability to travel an additional
ohh lets say 2" over stock parts, in theory making a long travel sidekick. Getting
a little more interesting? well for some anyway, and those that arent interested
that's fine too, but I like a healthy RTI and BTW the turbo sidekick scored a 958
at the High Desert Roundup last year, not too shabby for home growed stuff
