Yes Great Time so far, thanks!

I went back out last weekend with my Lowes $14 ABS snorkel and it worked perfect

Here is a pretty interesting story...when I got home from another trip with the samy last weekend i pulled it into the back yard on the patio to hose off the mud.

Later on that evening I went out side to sit down and kill a beer and I happened to see something sticking out of the rocker panel on the passenger side. (I cut the ends off the rockers to make room for tires weeks ago)..

I went over to pull it out and it was a Wallet, a pair of Ray-ban sunglasses, a big ray-o-vac flashlight and some tapes. They were all in great condition like being in a Time capsule or something.

Beleive it or not - all the papers inside the wallet were dated from 1988 in Alabama. Since the Zuki is a '88 model I figure I have found the original owner's stuff including birth certificate, social security card, credit cards and a reckless driving ticket LOL.

Im in the process of tracking him down and seeing if I can get it returned

Does anyone know how all this stuff could find its way down into the rocker boxs?

I take it there is a hole or something connected to the rockers, left up on the bedrail when you remove the front cab covers?

Cool story!  makes me want to go check my rockers to see if there are any treasures inside.. HA!

Love the build!  its always great to hear what can happen with a stock drive line.  I just bought my first sammi too, also an 88, and am in the middle of my build.  I might have to copy your color choice, it just seems to fit this little rig.

Good job, keep it up!
