There's never money to burn. I do put in lots and lots of hours at my regular job and work on the side too.(almost all of my play money is self generated so I don't take away from my family's well-being)

Just curious, what is it you do at your regular and side jobs?

I like all the room you have in there.  I am using Cherry Bomb Turbo mufflers, and they are a little over the top.  I know the Turbo on yours will break up the hard exhaust sound a little, but mine announce Heavy Pedal too much. fwiw

its now the slow tedious boring part of the build (all the little crap).

I spent a day and a half scouring the wrecking yards looking for the wright hose or ends or a combo of the two to make a German to jap power steering hose. to no avail. but as I was passing a 2 door tracker in one of the yards I grabbed a stock p/s hose just to have one (my diesel conv. left me with out). and just for kicks I pulled the Audi banjo bolt out of my pocket just to check and viola! its a match. and its the perfect shape.....sun shines on a dog's a$$ every once and a while by god!

other pics of the water manifold that I cut down cut fins in it, massaged it into shape and welded it up.(I also filled the stubbed end with melted lead to insure it's leak free.(we will see).

It looks like it's all coming together. It's all the little details that take so much time and can be so nerve racking.

I spent alot of time in the shop tonight with very little progress....I did figure out how I was going to plumb my capillary tube for the mechanical temp gauge. I didn't want it easily visible like it was on the diesel (butch).

and  since when is heater hose priced per inch!? ???

heres also how i'm doing any crimped connections on my swap.; there oem type crimp clamps just too clean up the engine bay and eliminate them damn skin stealing screw clamps.
