Then I bought a left rear fender skin. This was a universal piece for a "Tin Top" but cutting it on the body line makes it a Soft Top piece

Now, this is the First Time I have used 3M body panel adhesive instead of wire welding. My Rusty Iron Junkie Friend who owns a body shop told me to use this stuff as Welding always leaves places for Rust to Start !!

This stuff IS Not Cheap......
The gun is $65.00, and the cartridges are $52.00 a piece.

But this Stuff is the Cats Ass !!

You Have to sand/grind both surfaces down to bare steel.

Smear a very thin coat covering the bare steel on both the fender skin and the body. Then put two thick beads around the bonding points to get a Good Squeeze Out.
This is to make sure moisture can't get in.
ALSO have Someone Help You, and hopefully you did your several test fitting before this point, AS....
ONCE you set it against the body, you can slide it into alignment, BUT YOU CAN NOT LET IT LIFT OFF !! Air Bubbles and Tacky Points will not let you set it on straight !!
Being my First time doing this I got Happy Krazy with the Clamps

Looks good!  Rust eradication can be a pain sometimes!
