Yes, I did install the camber bolts and would say it is required as other wise the camber will be way off and cause bad handling and tire wear. I also installed the rear control arm spacer. I highly suggest this thought it will work short term without it.

The Explorer springs came out of a 93 and 94. I believe the explorer and 4x4 ranger springs are all the same from 91 to 94 so any in that range will work.

The rear springs are from the rear of a early 90s cherokee but could not tell you the exact year.

also by 90s Cherokee, your talking about the front springs of the jeep? since the backs leaf?
sorry for the hardball lol i just wanna be exact at it

The Jeep Grand Cherokee had coil springs in the rear from 93 on. The rear coils off of either a 94 or 95 Grand Cherokee is what I used for this build.

Just a question..... why didn't you also use the jeep front springs, are they the wrong size or is there something else about them ??

Jeep springs are way to light of spring rate for the front.

Nice work, I like using springs for lift.  They do improve the ride.
Your lift looks good.
93 Tracker,XL7 springs & 1" raised spring pads in front with YJ springs in back, home built bumpers rear & front (w/winch), 2" x 4" rock tubes,  ARB front & rear, converted Sami rear to IFS, 33x12.5x15  aluminum rims, roll cage, 2.7L w/5 speed auto.

A solid axle doesn't put as much stress on a spring so thinking even the V-8 jeep will be about 100 lbs. light.

BRD HNTR, thanks and I agree it has made the ride better.

Did you have to do anything to the steering  or brake lines or anything else  ??? Or you just swap the springs

Just Springs. Brake lines are plenty long enough and steering doesn't really change.

So it rides better than just putting the two inch spring spacers

I never had just spacers on this one but have ridden in a sidekick that did and I think the ride is better personally on this one.

really great idea, with the longer springs i can see you would get a way better rided as you are using more spring 'coils" then just adding spacers, have done the spacers on a couple of my kicks but will be going this way on my next one, thanks for info.
