Mine is a real compressor type fridge. If I'm not careful about setting the temperature it will easily FREEZE everything in it. That's running off a battery alone. In the NM/UT/TX summer. Doesn't matter what the ambient temp is, it's quite efficient. I'll have to go look because I forgot the brand name.

IT's an EdgeStar.
UPDATE:  I ran the camper off the new inverter I got off ebay, 3000w/6000w peak and running off just 4 storage batteries I was able to run the new AC unit ( LG 5000 btu like ecoast suggested, sold the old big unit on craigslist and used the $ to buy this one ) two small fans and two lights 'easily. I started the ac at about 4pm, hottest part of the day with the camper sitting in direct sunlight, and ran it for almost 5 hours.  Batteries still had plenty of reserve capacity left. I figure two more storage batts, which I have in reserve and I can run the AC all night using the solar to recharge during the day.
