Hey guys.. got a silly question... Does anyone here enjoy camping in the cold, frigide, January or Febuary air of Southern KY? It can be unbearably cold for some, but it's my favorite time to camp and wheel. I was just wondering if anyone would be interested in a Zuk camping trip? I own about 180 acres and a nice camp site on top of a ridge. The trails are VERY simple. mostly just ridge roads and old logging roads running along the ridges. Got a couple of good hill climbs and one nice long downhill with a v-notch. A shallow flat rock creek with some nice holes runs the length of the property. A stock 4wd tracker could do 90% of the trails, but it's still a good time.
If there is any interest I will be cutting a few new trails that my Tracker PROBABLY wouldn't be able to climb out of, but something with some lockers and such would have fun. I'm also building a small cabin on the camp site right now that would help with the cold.
All of my friends are panzies and scared of the cold, and NO ONE here has anything to wheel (bunch of *eeps around, but NONE of them actually go offraod
.)
It is located about 8 miles outside of this town:http://www.mapquest.com/maps?city=Edmonton&state=KY&zipcode=42129I just enjoy wheeling all day and then sitting around a warm campfire in the cold air, downing some tasty beverages
and telling stories (lies
haha. )
I know this is a little off the wall, but if there is any interest, let me know. This will be posted on Zuwharrie and ZukiKrawlers, too.
