Canadian convoy to Powerfest
« on: July 19, 2008, 10:36:55 PM »
Does anyone else from BC want to go to Powerfest this year? It takes about 10 hours to get there from Vancouver but is worth all the driving. I have been the only Canadian for the last 3 years and I know there are a few more of us on the board. My plan is to leave around 9 am on Oct 17.

Tempting to cut up across the border and join you.  But I'm saving my gas money for the Team Trophy Challenge this year.  :)

It is just outside of Portland, Oregon. A bit of a drive but good times.

The Adventure challenge we're adding this year will be similar to the TTC only there will not be tasks stations along the way. More of a pure navigation and driving challenge.

Yup - $3.50 each still. How many would you like?

There are usually 3 different groups. Easy, medium, and hard. The easy groups do trail runs and the hard group plays in the rock garden and some of the short hard trails. There is a little bit of everything for everybody. Check out some of the pictures from last year.....

I will take a six pack Derek. Need my fix is all. I took Friday off and am planning on camping this year. Maybe we can try to cruise over to the sand dunes on Sunday or something. They are not that far away.
