Fender Flares

Wondered if anyone is using Trail Toughs fender flares (basically they are bushwacker flares).  If so, how did you mount them?  And are you having or had issues with the way they have been mounted?

Reason for the question.............I picked up a set to keep johnny law from visiting me.  Once I opened the box and looked at the hardware.......well it seemed a little cheesy.  So I wondered if anyone has come up with a different way of installing them.  I spent a few hours at the hardware store and come up with a few ideas, but before I spend some $$$$, I wanted to see some other ideas.

Thanks for your input. :)

Also, if you have some pics that would be great!

Speaking of cheesy, on my F-350 the fender flares are just held on with double sided tape.  :)

on my Sammie I just used the bolts that came with them but left out the rubber trim piece that goes against the body to keep the paint from scratching, I have heard that they will break when cold so some use those push in plastic pins so when they hit something they will just pop off.
