ive been thinking of doing the jeep spring mod, but dont want to spend the money to buy the pre fabbed mounts, does anyone have some good up close pics of the kit installed? i know i can make the mounts no problem, just want to see what they look like installed

I have Sky Manufacturing's YJ kit on my rig, Ill snap some pics and get some measurements tomorrow.

I have the trail tough yj missing link set up. I love those damn things. I will try to get a pic.
1987 Tintop w/t sunroof. 32inch BFG Mud terrains, lockright's front and rear, yj springs W/t missing links. Warrior roof rack, thorley try header w/t trailtough exhaust kit, Gm 80 amp alternator.

You might try some other forums too. One of these just had someone talking about this same thing and they had a drawing with measurements for making your own mounts. I can't remember which site it was, but know it was one of these..... zukikrawlers or zuwharrie.

Also the trail tough website has a link back to here for an installation article with lots of good pics.
Look under products then the yj kit for the instructions on the trail tough web site.

Yeah that one was the best I found, but again no DXF file. I decided I liked the one that moved the whole back an additional .5" and put in a whole for the ruf/cj swap. However I haven't gotten the template mocked up yet to decide if I want to get them cut out on the plasma. I want to move my axle about 0.5" to 1.0" forward at most. But I would like to move it forward a little. So we will see how it sits.
